At this point, I think that the right course of action is to report the problem
to Little Snitch developers.

Little Snitch includes a kernel extension, so it can do absolutely anything. In
this particular case, maybe we could work around the freeze, but the code is
partially closed source, so I'll file a bug for Apple to investigate this
internally.
