I'm used to the Firefox behavior and was surprised when Safari didn't act like
I was used to.  I use it for capitalizing already-typed words (hold shift and
re-type the word while pressing delete).  It's just an edge case.  Eric said
he's on an editing bug-fixing binge and asked me to file this bug.
