Try the attached example.
The expected output is:

success

what you get instead is:

(null)

This bug occurs on Linux and webkit based browsers (i.e. Midori) ONLY.
It works fine with Safari both in windows ans osx as well as gecko based
browsers on ALL platforms.
Webkit is r41379 (Nightly build) compiled from source on Ubuntu 8.10 i386
