I'm not sure if it belongs to this bugzilla or to an Apple bug system.

Recent build of webkit do offer implementation of cross-origin request. It
works on Safari, nightly and iPhone 3.0 but not on iPhone simulator. Testing
code using it then becomes more difficult.
If there is a workaround (framework switching or such) please share.
