One user on a forum noted that videos (often the source of animated GIFs) are
generally either 24 FPS or 30 FPS, both of which are over 20 FPS and thus would
currently be dropped to 10 FPS by WebKit.

Of course, with the prevalence of sites like YouTube, the need to use animated
GIFs to display video is presumably decreasing.
