           Summary: event-based debugging / profiling
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Web Inspector
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: pmuellr at yahoo.com

Mark S. Miller (Google) sent me a link to a paper titled "Causeway: A
message-oriented distributed debugger", available as a PDF here:

http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/2009/HPL-2009-78.html

Provides some interesting food for thought for additional capabilities that
could be provided by Web Inspector. My initial thought is to just be able to
get a view of events that have been fired over a user-delimited time-frame. A
kind of profiling.
