Summary: Major missing info in the Web Inspector
Product: WebKit
Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
Platform: Macintosh Intel
OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Major
Priority: P2
Component: Web Inspector
AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
ReportedBy: cell.jason at gmail.com
Guys, the calculated styles are great, but the inherited styles along the
cascade need line numbers for the respective stylesheets. This is a major
factor for development and inspecting elements. Inline editing of the styles
and elements and adding attributes on the fly are great features but if you
don't have a line number on what css file then you're taking a big step out of
the process, in fact it becomes a hurdle.
Let me know if this is a viable request because I KNOW i'm not the only one out
here asking for this and Firebug can be great but it_IS_Sooooo_SLOOOWWWW
lately. Webkit is the better browser.
Thanks!
