Trying to reproduce the bug with the test case provided I found out this is now
already fixed, so I guess it would be great if you could verify it to make sure
this bug is not here anymore :-).

This is the alternative currently implemented, as far as I could see.
Btw, commit ID where I tried this is 5e4b39b07aa0abb24b5c219cf39d605343368f54,
from 2009/07/15.
