Summary: permanently accepting certificate raises exception
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Java
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: fdg001 at gmx.net

TiddlyWiki[1] uses a Java applet called TiddlySaver to save to the local
filesystem on WebKit-based browsers.

On Safari, this applet does not work anymore[2] since upgrading to "Java for
Mac OS X 10.5 Update 4". (It used to work just fine before.)

While the applet can be run on a one-off basis (confirming once per browser
session), choosing "Always trust content from this publisher." raises a Java
exception (see attached screenshot[3] - unfrotunately, copying the full text is
not possible). This results in the applet being treated as unsigned, rendering
it unusable.
