Since the installation of Safari 4.0.1 the Mail.app 2.1.3 is not able to send
mails to my provider anymore.

I'm still able to send e-mails to an old GMX free-mail-account.

The mailboxes which do not work on Mail.app 2.1.3 (OS X 10.4.11) do work with
Mail.app 3.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.7

Today I was hoping that installing Safari 4.0.2 might help but Mail.app does
still not send mails.

My provider gives me the same address for pop as for smtp. 
POP: mail.domain.com
SMTP: mail.domain.com
