Summary: recent nightly builds of webkit not rendering splunk
                    output properly; earlier builds fine.
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 528+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://interop.demo.splunk.com/login
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: artkiver at gmail.com

So, with older nightly builds [e.g. WebKit-SVN-r38297] when using splunk, when
you enter a search term, queries return properly. However, upgrading to a
recent nightly build [WebKit-SVN-r40102] initial page rendering is fine, but no
results are displayed when a search query is entered.

Splunk doesn't currently officially support webkit [apparently this may change
with their upcoming 4.0 release]. However, webkit has worked fine for me in
the past [I notice there's a bug from 2006 complaining about splunk, but it's
been working dandy for ages that bug
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10172 can be closed, or at least
could've been closed]

It renders/returns results fine in Safari 3.2.1, as well as Chrome (1.0.154.43
tested); so clearly things downstream of Webkit had been OK as well, it seems
like this is a recently introduced bug given I wasn't having problems with a
previous nightly build I was running.

Thanks in advance for looking into this!
