I was trying to reproduce this, and couldn't - neither with ToT, nor with
Safari 4.0.4. Here is what I did:

1. Downloaded repro.html and AsyncXMLHttpRequest.js to LayoutTests/http/tests
2. run-webkit-tests
3. Opened http://127.0.0.1:8000/repro.html

I got an alert saying "http://does not exist", dismissed it, got the requests
finish, and nothing happened after that. Not dismissing the alert for a while
didn't make a difference.
