Just to add to the list, then, use of "transfer-encoding: chunked" incurs
additional overhead on the transfer of the payload.  Typically not much, and
probably inconsequential.  But something.

And for some reason, I'm thinking we may not be seeing all the headers.  Isn't
a system framework used for HTTP access on Mac?
