I'd add that the latest draft of what is now called the 'Web Database'
specification was updated today and is here:

http://dev.w3.org/html5/webdatabase/

I noticed that a 'synchronous' API has been added since Webkit/Safari
implemented the HTML5 DB functionality a while back. Having that synchronous
API (with or without Worker support) would be a definite plus for those of us
out here who need it :-).
