Yeah, that’s why I originally made this an evangelism bug. However, the problem
here is that the buggy code is replicated in many websites that use the
MediaWiki system, so this is more like the kind of workarounds we have for
3rd-party apps than a site-specific hack. Maybe the right thing to do is wait
for Wikipedia to respond and if they do, re-evaluate the necessity of the hack.
