Using the Safari 4 Beta, I've found that when working on a page that adds
images with javascript, occasionally the image files don't get downloaded by
the browser. I've seen the phenomena happen both to background images and <img>
tags, but only when the DOM nodes were created by javascript. I've also only
seen it while developing software against localhost, where I would normally
reload the same page many times. Once an image fails to load, it won't load
again until you restart the browser.
