With the WebKit-r36281 I am back to square one again. 

Now neither Safari 3.1.2 nor Safari 4 dev 2 preview will start running the
nightly build. The classic error message "Safari cannot open a browser windows
and may be missing important resources. Try installing Safari again" reappears.

I have tried reinstalling numerous times, wiping the program folder and %TEMP%
folder clean, but still no luck.

However WebKit-r36254 works with Safari 3.1.2, but not with the Safari 4 dev 2.
