This sounds unlikely to be a WebKit bug.  For unsupported MIME types, WebKit
checks if any plug-ins are available to handle the MIME type, and otherwise
delegates the handling of them to the host application.  I think this bug
should probably be closed as INVALID and a new bug filed against Safari at
<http://bugreport.apple.com/>.
