I've added an image of the difference I see in Webkit/Safari against Camino
from the sample page (http://www.shields-online.net/webkit_unicode.html). I'm
not aware that there are any additional steps needed to cause the problem to
display, although it could be font related (except that Camino works where
Webkit doesn't on the same system with the same fonts installed).
