After deleting the xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" attribute in the svg
element, the new element is included to the tree. (you can see it if you use a
text element with text instead of a rect)

But it is a normal XML file and not an SVG now. And therefor parsed as a normal
XML file.
