Confirmed with r31436 as a regression from Safari 3.1.

Easier steps to reproduce:
1. Load testcase and hit Cmd + A to select all.
2. Cmd + Shift + R to force repaint.
3. Click to deselect.
4. Cmd + Shift + R again to force repaint.
