The issue is related to Safari browser
[http://webkit.org/blog/101/back-to-basics/] so you should report the problem
to http://bugreport.apple.com.

However, check your RSS preferences (menu Safari > Preferences > RSS).  There
are options to set up automatically RSS feeds updating.
