When grading some students, I logged into our grading system, and text overlaps
other text all over the place.  This also happens in Firefox 2.0.0.14, but
curiously not in IE 5.2 on the Mac (!).

Not sure if this is a bug in the html, or in the browser(s).  Attachment
(sanitized) forthcoming.

Tested with r34382 and 3.1.1 on 10.5.3
