After further investigation I believe this may be due to browser sniffing on
the website in question.  The nightly builds work fine if I have Safari spoof
as Konqueror then click through the unsupported browser page.  If I manually
mangle the user agent string used by the nightly build to look like the
following (with the Safari build number bumped to match WebKits):

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_1; en-au) AppleWebKit/525.8+
(KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Safari/525.8

then I am again warned about an unsupported browser but the delete key works
correctly after clicking through.

I think this will have to be an evangelism issue as there's little we can do to
address this.
