Sorry, I was vague.

You type"

ap@ (and it shows you the autocomplete dialog)
but if you try and click on any result, the dialog goes away and it does not
complete.

ap@<tab> seems to work much of the time.  I'm not sure if these are two
separate issues: when <tab> fails vs. when clicking fails.  IIRC, if clicking
fails, tab will always fail.
