With a local debug build, I got an assertion failure:

ASSERTION FAILED: docLoader->requestCount() == 0
(/Users/ap/Safari/OpenSource/WebCore/loader/loader.cpp:177 void
WebCore::Loader::cancelRequests(WebCore::DocLoader*))

Note however that at least some versions of WebCT Vista were compatible with
some versions of WebKit: bug 4060.
