           Summary: esc key does not generate keypress (but does in IE)
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 526+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/tests/keys-cancel2.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML DOM
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: darin at apple.com
                CC: ap at webkit.org

Testing with the W3 page <http://www.w3.org/2002/09/tests/keys-cancel2.html> I
noticed that no keypress event was generated for Esc.

But the chart here
<http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-archive/2006Nov/att-0047/keyCode-ie.htm>
says that IE does generate a keypress event for Esc.
