yeah, with either Sun or IcedTea Java plugin, Epiphany with this patch crashes
on startup for me, and Midori crashes as soon as I go to any site which would
require a plugin to be loaded. Anyone else seeing this?

With Sun Java I don't get the libxpcom.so error, but the browser still crashes.
