Does this happen on both Tiger (10.4) and Leopard (10.5), or just one of them? 
I see the last crash log in Comment #10 is for Leopard 9A559.

If you were able to try the plug-in on Windows to see if it crashed similarly,
that would give us another data point, but I'm guessing this is probably a
Mac-only issue.
