It looks like it detected my hardware, (PC) but not the OS, I am running Safari
for Windows on a PC...

I am pretty sure that is why it is happening ... it is a PC running Windows.

Sorry about the confusion, I guess you guys are doing different things on
windows...as the shadow support is probably built in on the mac right?
