I now know why this happens to me and not to most developers :)

I am using this under Traditional Chinese environment and T-Chinese input
method Hanin built into 10.4.10. When I press the buttons under with Hanin
activated, it will lag and consumes unexpectedly high CPU time. When I switch
to English/US, it does not happen at all.
