I use Hotmail for mailling lists. I was logged in before updating to the
nightly builds (from official Apple releases). I had it set to always remember
Username and Password for hotmail. 

I use the live.com version of hotmail in Safari; I assume that live.com is part
of the problem. 

I entered hotmail.com into the addressbar, and it kept redirecting. Hotmail
usually goes through about 3-4 redirects in order to load the webapp, but this
time it didn't stop redirecting, and Safari did not pick up on it, probably
because it was three different pages it kept directing to. 

A friend running Leopard's latest build was able to load Hotmail effortlessly

I'm sorry I can't provide more specific information :(.
