Okay. I don't know if this is entirely related to the problem described in this
ticket, but I think (based on behavior) it might be.

On http://crschmidt.net/projects/lite.html -- let all images load. Click
'satellite'. Let all images load. Click back to 'WMS'. No images are displayed.

Drag map. See nothing. Switch to satellite. Still nothing. Switch back to WMS,
and images show up.

Attaching HTML, exported from Firebug, of the HTML that the browser should be
displaying for each stage of the failing case.
