Animated GIFs often crash GtkLauncher, particularly large ones. There is often
also image corruption evident when the GIFs are rendered on screen.

The issue is probably not in the image decoders since they work fine for
Android and the experimental Qt branch. Could be a problem in
WebCore/platform/graphics/cairo
