Thanks for the pointer to the version in which this was broken.  I've tested
r27434 and neither it nor r27337 pass this test.  I installed r26359 (prior to
the version that introduced the problem) and that does pass this testcase.

I'm running on a G4 powerbook with Mac OS X 10.4.10.

As Eric just noted, firefox does handle this testcase properly.
