Confirmed that the behavior is different with latest libxml2 and libxslt (I
wonder what versions 10.5 has). With libxml2 memory debugging enabled, the
output is:

Memory tag error occurs :0x311d0d7 
         bye

      MEMORY ALLOCATED : 42495, MAX was 54711
