Summary: 1px by 1px alphatransparent PNG backgrounds appear too
                    dark
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 419.x
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://www.webdevout.net/test?safari-1px-bg&raw
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: Images
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: nanobot at gmail.com

A repeating 1-by-1 pixel alphatransparent PNG background appears much darker
than it should. The exact same image, generated the same way, but sized to 2x1
displays correctly.

Workaround for web developers: just use a 2x1 pixel image and repeat that.
