Had a quick look at the issue. Looking at the code in JSHTMLSelectElement and
JSHTMLOptionElement I could see that option element correctly get selected.
However, during the render stage, when it checks to see which option is
selected, the first option comes back as being selected.
My attempts at a reduced test case were not successful.
