Summary: Scroll to end of page also scrolls to the far left
instead of keeping the horizontal scroll position
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 418.x
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: ddkilzer at webkit.org

Summary:

After scrolling to the right on a web page, then hitting cmd-down-arrow to
scroll to the bottom of the page, Safari/WebKit also scrolls to the far left
instead of keeping the current horizontal scroll position.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Safari/WebKit.
2. Open test case (to be attached soon).
3. Follow instructions on test case (reproduced here for convenience):
   a. Scroll to far right.
   b. Hit cmd-down-arrow.

Expected results:

The page should be at the bottom, but scrolled horizontally to the far right.

Actual results:

The page is at the bottom, but scrolled horizontally to the far left.

Regression:

This behavior occurs with shipping Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) with Mac OS X 10.4.9
(8P135).

Notes:

Both Firefox 2.0.0.2 and Opera 9.10 behave as expected above. MSIE 6/7 have
NOT been tested.
