onkeydown prevents keyboard shortcuts from working on this page when the input
field had focus. 

Reduction included, when the input field has focus nothing happens when trying
to use a keyboard command.

This works in Firefox, however All tested WebKits including Safari 2.0.4
(419.3) fail. This might just be bad code but I thought I'd file it since
Firefox is handling it okay.
