Summary: Multiple downloads use lot of CPU for progress
                    indicators.
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 522+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh PowerPC
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: New Bugs
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: sherlock at genome.stanford.edu

Download several (>10) large files simultaneously.
Note that CPU usage is high - I initially assumed this was due to the actual
downloading. However, when I clicked on a bookmark menu in the toolbar of an
open browser window, I noticed 2 things:

1. The download progress indicators stopped updating
2. The CPU usage dropped from ~110% to ~40%

Upon unclicking the bookmark menu, progress indicators updated immediately,
indicating that downloading had still continued, even though the progress
indicators were not being updated. The CPU usage also jumped back up.

Thus, more CPU was being used to indicate progress than to actually download
the files.

On dual G5 2.0GHz, 10.4.8, r20004 of Webkit
