Summary: Incorrect favicon displayed after following link and
                    then returning
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 522+ (nightly)
          Platform: Macintosh PowerPC
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebKit Misc.
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: sam at s-j-t.co.uk

Following a link from site A to site B, but using Back to cancel the page load
and return to site A before the load of site B is complete results in the site
A using the favicon of site B in the address bar.

e.g. daringfireball.net links to
http://www.flickr.com/photos/gruber/666953031/, then using Back before load
completes results in daringfireball.net using the flickr favicon.

After this, following any link from site A to another site and then using Back
to return, results in the same incorrect favicon displaying.
Following any link from site A to a another page on site A results in the
correct favicon on the new page, but using Back results in the incorrect
favicon displaying again.

This is reproducible.

At one point the favicon in the address bar was corrected (by using Enter in
the address bar to refresh), but by this point the incorrect favicon had been
cached and used in the bookmarks bar dropdown. The incorrect favicon remained
in the bookmarks bar dropdown while the correct icon appeared in the address
bar until restart of Safari.
I can't reproduce this, as I'm not sure what triggers the cache of the icon and
it's use in the favourites dropdown.

This is similar to 10551 but is occurring with a normal link, not a redirect.
