This is in radar as <rdar://problem/5271938>

There is at least one bank website in the wild that uses this for logging out,
and the original reporter posted this reduction - works on Firefox, doesn't
work in Safari.

Start analysis!

I still don't know if this is a regression or not as I haven't had a chance to
test with Safari 2
