Thanks for the bug report, Vitaly!  I don't see much of a difference between
Firefox 2.0.0.4 and Safari 3.0 beta with a local debug build of WebKit r23502
on Mac OS X 10.4.9 (8P135).  Could you please post a screenshot of Firefox
versus Safari?  Thanks!
