Hi

Sorry if this is the wrong place to file feature requests...

In Safari 3 for windows I have found some UI issues I would like to be
implemented differently:

FEATURE REQUEST 1.

In windows (as you know) the windows in the background are not grayed out.

The Safari 3 browser has a very thin border around it.
So thin actually that sometimes (quite often) the content of the browser blends
to much into the content of windows behind the browser window.
To be able to make the browser window stick more out from the background
desktop and/or non-active windows in the background I suggest that the
border and title bar area are made more the way it looks of Firefox browser.

The best way as I see it is that it could be an optional feature to both be
able to control the background color for the browser title area, browser title
color, and thickness and color of the border of the browser window.

If not possible to make it customizable I would strongly recommend that
it (the browser window) get a thicker border and and another background color
of the title bar area (only bar area where the page title are placed)

FEATURE REQUEST 2:
Make it possible to change height and width of the browser window by dragging
any of the browser border (top, left, bottom or right border), as it is now it
is only possible by dragging bottom right corner.

Feature request 3.
Make the scrollbars look like the scrollbars of e.g. Firefox.
I'm talking about the shape of the scrollbar and not the color though....
I belive it is better to have a more uniform look in order to make the
enduser feel more familiar with the application.

A horrible scenario would be if every software maker created their own
implementation of how the scrollbars are looking...
That would be really confusing and not enhance usability for end-user.

I feel that if this should be possible to change, it should be changed from
a centraliced point in the OS and not within the application.
I feel very much the same for the Feature request 1 (browser border and title
area).

Feaure request 3
Would be nice if possible to customize the way the browser look.....
such as browser border, title area, scrollbar look, form field look etc...

***************

That said.... the UI of Safari on windows are very clean...

IE developers should take a look at the safari browser....

keep up the good work

If this is the wrong place to file this feature requests, then please tell me
where I should put it!
