STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Log in to gmail
2. Open a conversation long enough to be scrolled
3. Scroll very slowly down

This happens to buttons at the bottom of the message and also at the top of the
message. Scrolling quickly past them again repaints the whole button.
