Regarding the comment on the round off error in the 2.0.x series of Safari, I
had set the left border to 0.07% and it seemed to have no effect.  As a test I
raised this value to a full 1.0% and just tested on the MacBook Pro I used
previously and the result is positive.  I now see a border on the left side of
the page.
