I use:
Safari 2.0.4
OS X: 10.4.10
Java: 1.4.2 (installed, although the plugin page says 1.3.1)
HW: Powerbook G4

It works fine in Safari - and has done so almost since the first versions. When
I use the Webkit (24285) it doesn't work.
When I wrote "buttons" it's not real Java buttons, but links that look like
buttons, they don't work. Also hitting Return in the password field does not
submit the form.

I'll try with a newer Java.
