Works for me (does not crash) with a local debug build of WebKit r24288 with
Safari 3.0 (522.12) on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218).

Allan, could you post a stack trace from when it crashes?  (Just copy and paste
the information from the Crash Reporter window when it crashes.  Attach it as a
file or as a comment to this bug.)
