Make sure Acrobat is installed, and configured to display pdfs in the browser. 
Go to bug URL (get annoyed that it takes so long to load, and that Safari is
hung while it loads).  When it has finally loaded, select "Show Web Inspector"
from the Debug menu.

Expected results:

Inspector should tell me something about the size of the pdf, and tell me
something about the time it took to download.

Actual results:

There's not much useful information, and the Network part of the inspector has
lots of NaNs across the top, measuring the time in days.

Tested with r28997 on 10.4.11 with Safari 3.0.4 (523.12.2)
